> The AI explains rules. Patient data stays with you. This example is made up.

**Zone**: Yellow · **Medical practice and care**

## The situation

You do not understand a billing rule. The question has nothing to do with a single patient.

## How it works

1. You ask the question in general terms. No patient names.
2. **The Schleuse replaces secrets.** Names, addresses, identifiers and credentials are replaced with stand-in words. This happens on your side, not in the cloud. Amounts and dates stay as they are.
3. **The AI answers, the Schleuse translates back.** The answer contains the stand-in words. On your side they turn back into the real names.

## Example

**Your question to the AI:** Explain in plain words how this billing rule works.

**What is in your text:**

> Question from **Praxis Dr. Voss**:
> How is this service billed for public-insurance patients? Quarter 3/2026.

**What the cloud AI sees:**

> Question from **Practice Alpha**:
> How is this service billed for public-insurance patients? Quarter 3/2026.

*This example is made up.*

## What you get

You get a plain explanation of the rule.

## Good to know

Patient data (zone Blue) does not belong in the question. Check the answer with your billing office.

## Zone of this use case: Yellow

Only through the Schleuse. And only to targets you have approved.

## Status of the Schleuse

Version 0.1 Alpha. So far tested only with made-up examples. Not reviewed by third parties. No legal advice.
