**Zone**: Yellow · **Office and administration**

## The situation

A customer writes a long message. You want to answer politely and clearly. And you have little time.

## How it works

1. You paste the email.
2. **The Schleuse replaces secrets.** Names, addresses, identifiers and credentials are replaced with stand-in words. This happens on your side, not in the cloud. Amounts and dates stay as they are.
3. **The AI answers, the Schleuse translates back.** The answer contains the stand-in words. On your side they turn back into the real names.

## Example

**Your question to the AI:** Write a friendly reply to this email. Short and clear.

**What is in your text:**

> Hello **Ms Petra Voss**,
> thank you for your message of 12 September 2026.
> Your customer number is **48819**.
> We will get back to you by Friday.

**What the cloud AI sees:**

> Hello **Customer Alpha**,
> thank you for your message of 12 September 2026.
> Your customer number is **CustomerNumber_1**.
> We will get back to you by Friday.

## What you get

You get a draft. You edit it and send it yourself.

## Good to know

Read the draft before you send it. The Schleuse does not send emails.

## Zone of this use case: Yellow

Only through the Schleuse. And only to targets you have approved.

## Status of the Schleuse

Version 0.1 Alpha. So far tested only with made-up examples. Not reviewed by third parties. No legal advice.
