> The AI helps with texts that contain no personal data. This example is made up.

Language: en · Source: https://it-interdev.de/en/use-cases/write-a-patient-newsletter.html · Alternate (de): https://it-interdev.de/anwendungen/patienten-rundschreiben.html · Updated: 2026-10-05

**Zone**: Green · **Medical practice and care**

## The situation

The practice is closing for holiday. All patients should know. The text should be friendly and short.

## How it works

1. You describe the content in keywords. No patient data.
2. **The Schleuse replaces secrets.** Names, addresses, identifiers and credentials are replaced with stand-in words. This happens on your side, not in the cloud. Amounts and dates stay as they are.
3. **The AI answers, the Schleuse translates back.** The answer contains the stand-in words. On your side they turn back into the real names.

## Example

**Your question to the AI:** Write a short notice: The practice is closed from 20 to 31 October.

**What is in your text:**

> Dear patients,
> **Praxis Dr. Voss** is closed from 20 October to 31 October 2026.
> Cover: **Dr. Kai Brandt**.

**What the cloud AI sees:**

> Dear patients,
> **Practice Alpha** is closed from 20 October to 31 October 2026.
> Cover: **Practice Beta**.

## What you get

You get a friendly text that you can print or send by email.

## Good to know

Texts with patient data (zone Blue) never go to the cloud. This example contains none.

## Zone of this use case: Green

Not critical. The text may be used without stand-in words.

## Status of the Schleuse

Version 0.1 Alpha. So far tested only with made-up examples. Not reviewed by third parties. No legal advice.
