The answer contains the stand-in words. On your side they turn back into the real names.

Numbers and dates stay exact
Amounts, dates, quantities and values stay unchanged in the shadow copy. This is checked for every document.

To be honest
IT-InterMirror is new. We would rather say what is missing than promise something.
- Version 0.1 Alpha. Tested with made-up examples and in internal runs with real documents from customer projects (several thousand documents). The originals stayed in the house.
- No detection is perfect. A small remainder can be left even in a shadow copy. When in doubt, nothing is sent.
- Shadow copies are meant for documents, emails, logs and data. With books, films, pieces of music and podcasts the original is the content itself. IT-InterMirror is not meant for that.
- So far measured with German texts only. There is no measurement for other languages yet.
- IT-InterMirror does not handle audio or video yet. Text, documents, images and scans, yes.
- No review by third parties. No legal review. Our evidence is technical, not a certificate.
- Legally this is pseudonymisation, not anonymisation. The key makes the way back possible and stays with you.

What is IT-InterMirror?

Does an original leave my house?

What are shadow copies good for, and what not?
For documents, emails, logs, invoices, contracts and data. There, numbers, dates and relationships matter, not the names. With books, films, pieces of music and podcasts the original is the content itself. A shadow copy brings nothing there, and IT-InterMirror is not meant for that.
